Acupuncture is a therapy with a 3000 year history used to create a balance within the body to relieve pain and illness.  It is a unique form of treatment that assists the body's natural healing process by balancing Qi (energy), Blood, Yin, and Yang.  Acupuncture is virtually painless- the needles are as thin as a human hair, and it leaves you feeling very relaxed, with and overwhelming sense of well being.

Lisa Ledbetter has been a Nationally Certified, State Licensed Acupuncturist since 1999.  She treats a variety of imbalances, including headaches (migraines, tension, sinus), digestive disorders, ob/gyn issues (including infertility, PMS, and menopause), and all types of pain related to arthritis, fibromyalgia, tendonitis, and any other general aches and pains dues to acute or chronic injuries.

Along with the many other imbalances she treats, Lisa has a great success in treating allergies and sinus problems.  Treating the sinuses through acupuncture can help stimulate the immune system, increase energy, and can help break the cycle of repeated antibiotic use.

Lisa also believes strongly in the Chinese theory that "any imbalance in the body can be treated through change of diet".  As a result, Lisa does a lot of work tailoring a patient's diet to help heal their specific condition. This gives the patient a way to take an active part in their healing process and is a great complement to the acupuncture, and help the body heal from the inside out.

Our body has amazing ability to heal itself, and with a little work we can all live optimal life.

"In February 2006 I was in a car accident where my vehicle was rear-ended. The whiplash injury I sustained involved pain throughout my head, neck and shoulders. I had constant headaches and with a history of migraines this was doubly excruciating. It was difficult to sleep because even my head touching the pillow caused pain. I barely had any range of motion in my head. I couldn’t do any of the things I loved – reading, gardening, and painting. Within a month the pain became so unbearable that I sought an acupuncturist for acute treatment. Fortunately I found Lisa Ledbetter. Within weeks I was able to sleep without pain, the headaches diminished and range of motion increased. Sadly, during this time my father became seriously ill and passed away in May. Lisa not only continued treating my injuries with acupuncture but also included emotionally balancing. Time between treatments decreased and I continued to steadily improve. A year later I have only minor residual effects from the accident. I am more grounded. My immune system functions more efficiently. I feel healthy and there are no physical limitations. The chronic migraines have all but disappeared, something I never thought possible. Throughout this past year Lisa has been a tremendous support, healer and educator on the benefits of acupuncture. I needed not only treatment that addressed acute and chronic issues but also included a holistic approach. And, Lisa continues to provide that."
